Author Lloyd's Story

Lloyd Kaneko attained his certification as a Reiki Master/Teacher in June 2023 through the Usui Reiki Ryoho and also has been certified as a Master Channel by Angels Emerging Advanced Quantum Channeling Program. He is CEO of his own business, Spiritual Caring by Lloyd LLC based in Whittier, California. Producer, screenwriter and author, Lloyd Kaneko, has published his science fiction novel "Kami Jin" in 2009 as an e-book through Smashwords, and as a paperback in 2010 through Wordclay. He has also published a philosophical book entitled "A Vision for Humanity – Moving Mankind" in the Right Direction in 2011. He is a former staff writer for Drum Corps News, and has written for various other magazines, newsletters and blogs. He also is a member of the Greater Los Angeles Writers Society and has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Creative Writing from California State University, Long Beach and has studied creative writing under Dora Beale Polk. He has been active in civic government as a commissioner, board member on non-profit organizations, and is a political activist striving for social and economic justice and equality for the homeless. Although happily married with family, he also supports LGBT issues, having longtime friends and acquaintances in this community. Lloyd has worldwide friends, fans and supporters on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and MySpace. Lloyd is very highly spiritual, but is also fascinated with science, medicine and politics. As for his political and religious views, he considers himself totally independent – a Universalist. Lloyd has travelled the world including adventures to Algeria, Japan, the Netherlands, Spain and France and Canada. Lloyd has studied behavioral science, psychology, and adult education through his educational experiences at the University of California at Los Angeles. Lloyd is resides in Whittier, grew up in Monterey Park and is an alumnus of Montebello High School, Class of 1969. Lloyd was bestowed the 2010 People's Choice Award by Million Dollar Book Reviews.
